Give Your Best-- No Regrets

December 11, 2022
Did I give the best years of my life to God? That would suffice me. If I could look back and say that I gave my best years to Christ. Looking back, there have been good times--spent in the presence of my Savior Jesus Christ. I remember with great fondness, the times of trials that drave me into His comforting arms. The best moments and years in my life are the times I've sat in His presence, learned of Him and grown in my relationship with Him.  But I know much of my best years I wasted in things that did not profit. Too many hours watching movies or exploring "rabbit holes" to no real profit. The thought brings me sorrow. There is nothing I can do now to reclaim those moments and fervor of youth to give them to God, but I can go on, and give all that I have now, to Him. Let not this present God has given me today go down in memory with sadness as a wasted year.

But let me give glory to God: He deserves all praise and majesty, for He is worthy. His mercy is so abundant, never-ending-- the price He was willing to pay so great-- yet He loved me. He loved me and saw me as a lost sheep, wandering away. But He loved me and put into my heart a desire for Him. He loved me and drew me to Himself. He loved me and met me the day I came to Him for salvation. And every day, I see His love for me as He patiently works on me and prepares me to be fit for His heavenly kingdom.

I would sing praises to Him for ever and ever!! Shout for joy! Jump up and down, clap your hands, sing hallelujah-- Praise the Lord with me! He makes me so happy!
